you can go out in liverpool at 3am and still have 5 hours drinking time
Liverpool offers you dozens of top clubs, bars, strip clubs and live music venues right at your finger
tips playing a mixture of house, techno, rnb, alternative rock and party anthems respectively.
It's becoming more and more common for Liverpool's bars to open at 11pm and close at 5-6am. If you're traveling from
London, I'm sure this will be a breath of fresh air due to your early closing times.
Liverpool is literally packed with bars and nightclubs all within walking distance of one another. What does this mean?
It means you don't have to travel all over the world like you do in most big cites to find Liverpool's best
bars and nightclubs, everything is just there, literally.
popular clubbing questions
- How much does it cost to get into liverpool's bars and nightclubs?
- Most of Liverpool's bars you can walk straight in without paying on the door.
Saying that, a lot of Liverpool's best bars have
started adding a £2-£5 door charge after a certain time.
Regarding the nightclubs in Liverpool, you'll pay no more than a £10
entry fee on a Friday or Saturday night, and that's in the minority. Expect £20+ for big events on boxing night and NYE.
- What's the best club in liverpool?
- That depends on a number of things. What music do you like? Do you mind drinking with students? Do you like it trendy with cocktails and VIP service?
In short, I'd say Garlands. Probably the most diverse nightclub in Liverpool playing
a range of funky house and electro music. Not for everybody, mainly due to the gay & friendly clientele but has established itself for many
years as Liverpool's main super club. If your a Ibiza regular, I'm sure you've heard about the Garlands brand before.
- What should I wear, what's the dress code for liverpool's nightclubs?
- The majority of Liverpool's bars and nightclubs expect a smart dress code or smart casual, trousers,
smart jeans, shirt, funky t-shirt, clean shoes, maybe a blazer or a smart jacket. Girls just need to look glamorous
which usually comes as a standard for most Liverpool girls hitting the town for a night out.
If your going to a student club
or local pub then jeans, t-shirts are usually ok for the guys and you can more than likely wear what you want
without any trouble on the door. And that includes white pumps. Same for the ladies, just wear what your comfortable in.
- Will we be ok getting into liverpool clubs in big groups?
- Most of the time it's just down to the doorman's discretion and what rules the venue has in place. If you
don't bring attention to yourselves and maybe walk-in in small groups you should be ok in most Liverpool's
bars, nightclubs. Some venues will have different door polices to follow so you might need to try a few places first
before you all manage to gain entry if you're all drunk and shouting. In short, if they don't let you in you just go somewhere else,
plenty of good bars, nightclubs spread out all-over Liverpool who will gladly welcome your business, it's mainly
the more upmarket clubs where you might have some trouble on the door. You can book VIP booths to some clubs
(links to your right) if you want a guaranteed entry for your big group.
- What's the biggest nightclub in liverpool?
With the arrival of Level Nightclub
(opened late August 2014) club capacity of 2600 now the biggest nightclub
in Liverpool playing everything from dance, pop to RnB every Friday and Saturday night.
Formerly held by Club Aura
(opened early September 2013)
club capacity of 2000 playing funky house and dance music till 4am every Saturday night. That's excluding
the legendary CREAM @ Nation
which opens about three times a year for CREAM birthdays, bank holidays and
boxing night events. Also very popular for the
MEDICATION @ Nation

Nation holds close to a 3000 capacity when all three rooms are open.
