drunken clubbers on a night out in liverpool... with small clip of concert square
Liverpool offers you dozens of top clubs, bars, strip clubs and live music venues right at your finger
tips playing a mixture of house, techno, rnb, alternative rock and party anthems respectively.
It's becoming more and more common for Liverpool's bars to open at 11pm and close at 4-6am. If you're travelling from
London, I'm sure this will be a breath of fresh air due to your early closing times.
Liverpool is packed with bars and nightclubs all within walking distance of one another. What does this mean?
It means you don't have to travel all over the world like you do in most big cites to find Liverpool's best
bars and nightclubs, everything is just there, literally.
That depends on a number of things. What music do you like? Do you mind drinking with students? Do you like it trendy with cocktails and VIP service?
In short, I'd say Garlands. Probably the most diverse nightclub in Liverpool playing
a range of funky house and electro music. Not for everybody, mainly due to the gay & friendly clientele though has established itself for many
years as Liverpool's main super club. If your a Ibiza regular, I'm sure you've heard about the Garlands brand before.
Most clubs in Liverpool are 18. The places that require 21 are generally the trendy bars and clubs, even then, the doormen
just say its 21 if they don't like you. 90% of Liverpool's venues are 18 age, with so many bars and clubs around Liverpool,
if someone says you can't come in, just go somewhere else. Lots of good student bars and clubs about Liverpool, the younger
crowds populate around Concert Square areas. In short, you'll be fine!!! And if you all have ID, maybe student cards.... its a WIN WIN!
What time are the clubs open until in Liverpool?
Most good clubs in Liverpool stay open until 4-6am, even most bars stay open until 3-4am.
Opening times will vary from venue to venue, and depending on what night it is, though generally, everywhere is open late
over the weekend, especially on Saturday nights with after hour clubs open till 7am. If your a pub drinking, the opening hours are a little
more strict as 12:30-2am is usually the closing up hours. Though again, depending where you are, I was in the Grapes pub on Mathew Street one
Saturday night which was open till 4am. The trick is to follow the crowds and music while ignoring the people waiting for taxis.
Will we be ok getting into Liverpool clubs in big groups?
Most of the time it's just down to the doorman's discretion and what rules the venue has in place. If you
don't bring attention to yourselves and maybe walk-in in small groups you should be ok in most Liverpool's
bars, nightclubs. Some venues will have different door polices to follow so you might need to try a few places first
before you all manage to gain entry if you're all drunk and shouting. In short, if they don't let you in you just go somewhere else,
plenty of good bars, nightclubs spread out all-over Liverpool who will gladly welcome your business, it's mainly
the more upmarket clubs where you might have some trouble on the door.
What's the biggest nightclub in Liverpool?
With the arrival of Level Nightclub
(opened late August 2014) club capacity of 2600 now the biggest nightclub
