One of the newest gay venues to hit Liverpool's gay quarter on Victoria Street. Once located just across the road now with a brand new reimbursement and image reopened 20th August 2016.
Heaven offers a brand new uplifting atmosphere playing funky house music, old skool anthems with sing along party tracks.
Expect a very mixed gay & friendly crowd, popular lesbian hotspot with gay clubbers young and old, drag queens with a big selection of shooters & beers.
Note: Please ignore reviews and comments pre August 2016 — this is a new venue.
Honestly not surprised with the reviews about the doormen, total idiots. Turned away because and I quote "we get to pick and choose". Night cut short because some bald wrongen is too big for his boots, absolute muppet. Wouldn’t recommend at all, unless you’ve got boobs, bunch of Tory whoppers.
Got turned away for being straight and single, soured the end of what was a great night in Liverpool.
Bouncers are thugs. Seem to assault people on a regular basis from looking at the Google reviews. Very unhelpful and unfriendly. Avoid this place.
Had a great night out at the weekend in Heaven, we love it here! And the bouncers, in particular the girl bouncer with all the tattoos and the blonde hair, great laugh! Downside? The bar staff a bit rude.
I hate the doormen in here. Brains and private's probably the size of a pea, so have to accommodate somewhere. Wouldn't visit here again if you paid me.
If you want to get beat up by the little bouncers for no reason whatsoever then this is the place for you. Awful place! Bouncers nothing but bullies.
Fabulous venue & music... staff on the door & in the club are really friendly & helpful. I lost an important item in there & they all helped me find it which was fantastic :) thanks guys & will be back again soon for sure!!
Went here yesterday and I absolutely hate the place, the amount of times I’ve been and paid to get in only to walk right out a few minutes later, we tried to get into gbar but it was busy so we thought, heaven looked empty outside and I’m not surprised! The staff are rude, the bouncers are absolutely horrible with nasty attitudes, the atmosphere isn’t nice and the drinks poor quality! Won’t be going to this place again, every other club on the scene stands out a mile in comparison!
A lot of people having a lot to say about the bouncers at Heaven who are just doing their job! Many people get into fights in gay venues, have too much drink and start getting abusive with other customers, either groping them or starting a scrap. Its the bouncers job at a gay venue to stop this happening to protect other customers, their staff and their drag queens!! It can come off as they're being abusive or interrogating you about where you've been or who you're with, but they're just getting a sense of who you are and if you're going to create a problem for them later on in the night. Also, due to a lot of knife violence in the area, everyone is checked on their way in, how can you be offended by this?
Heaven needs to call in the cleaners and the bouncers where very rude. I think they thought they were the police the way we saw them man handling some people. Don't think we'll go back.
Ignorant bouncer - avoid!!! Myself and a friend approached the doors, there was no queue and 3 bouncers were stood! They sent us to another opening were 1 bouncer stood! He asked were we were going, when we answered is it ok to come inn? He said he could not understand us! Which at times can happen with our Irish accent!! The bouncer then aggressively said GO AWAY!! We do not no the reason for his anger and can only assume it was because we were Irish! Do Avoid!! Better places in Liverpool!
Couldn't have asked for a better birthday night out. Thursday night DJ is amazing! Loved every minute.
Went there for the first time. There was not a lot of people when we arrived despite the bouncers telling us it was busy. Entry was only £1 each, drinks were cheap but the overall vibe of the place didn’t sit well. Everyone seemed to be wired, there were old men at the bar waiting to approach you and the bouncers seemed very aware of this. We did not know the area and did not feel safe in this place. Not sure I would go again.
An ideal place to take a first date, the staff very friendly excellent value, the music awesome! In side the atmosphere was amazing but was with a goddess So thank you for contributing to an amazing night/morning out for the both of us will be back soon I am sure.
Came to Liverpool on a hen night. Was approached by a member of staff on the street from Heaven and told we would receive 2 bottles of champagne on entry into the club only to pay to get in and be palmed off with Chaumat Not champagne which is false advertising. When we brought this to the attention of the bar staff he just walked away along with a fair amount of attitude. Very disappointed with the customer service and such a shame that they let the place down.
Love the New heaven, Absolute fab Night out recommend to Everyone - Such a Ball!
Went to the new heaven last night absolutely stunning new club! However some of the people that come in here are shocking. Don't get me wrong I'm all for people having a good time and fun but there were girls doing rather rude things to each other getting videoed by one another but obviously that was allowed because the dj and bouncers seemed to enjoy the show. Felt rather uncormfortable if I'm honest and probably won't be returning which is upsetting as heaven was my favourite club in the last venue.
Price too high, bouncers too big, gays too gay. Waste of my time, Tiki Joes next time lads
Quite possibly the worst club in Liverpool. Lets face it if the majority of places where open until 7am im pretty sure this place would go under. The doorstaff are horrendous, the atmosphere (if you can call it that) is dismissal. If you like people who havnt washed since 1990, swinging jaws, obnoxious doormen who seem to speak in riddles, barstaf who probably got sacked from Mcdonalds and the most pretentious gays in all of Liverpool then you'll be right at home here. If not just avoid this place like the plague.
Friendly people, amazing music, safe and memorable.
I went to this bar last weekend. I was having a great time until I unfortunately had my hand bag taken. I have been ringing this bar every evening since and cannot get through? Just to see if they have any CCTV footage or even just to check if they have heard anything about what happened?! Please please if someone can help in anyway with a different contact number it would be really helpful.
Heard a lot of bad things about this place so I thought I'd give it a go to see if the rumours and sorts were true. They are. This place is an awful club. There was blood all over the floor and the bar staff were told about it, but they just laughed and said "So don't stand in it then." Two hours later and the blood was still there. The prices of drinks are ridiculous. A bottle of beer costs £4. A friend of mine paid to get in, and then had to pay again later on when she went outside. The bar sells little bottles of stuff they call 'Rush' and one of the bouncers was actually snorting cocaine outside. This place is absolutely disgusting.
Dodgy place in my opinion two Turkish foreign lads who work there charging us money to get in and not charging other people that place needs shutting Down!!!
Horrible staff they treat costumers very badly and intimidate you.
Love going when I get in. Door staff need to relax the "strictly gay policy" and stop judging people on what people look like. I would understand if they refused entry for being to drunk but not because you don't look gay enough. Then after having to broadcast my sexuality they still refused entry - Stupid idiots!!
I love heaven bar, the drinks are dead cheap and i dont mind payin be4 u go in x
This place is amazing!! Love partying here every weekend till 7am!!! x
lovveeee this place :) go wild everytime am in there
I have been going to this place for years, and normally have an okay night. The prices of the drinks are very high, and it can be expensive to get in. I will never go here again though, the manager is a horrible and ignorant human being who lets her bouncers treat the customers terribly. The bouncers are thugs who push people around and call them names. I will never ever go here again.
was in the club enjoying myself dancing when one of the bar staff (they no who they are) took my drink which i had just bought only a couple of seconds, and the glass collactor throw it away in a bin bag, i kept my calm and ask her to at least get me another drink, before i new it i was asked to leave an would not get a refund all this infront of witness, i was throwen out just for standing up for my lawful right, when outside even one of the bouncers said to me you coperated and left without a fuss and i was offerd the money off a member of the public outside but i refused it i had money it was the point of it(horrible staff they do what they want to you) would not rate it to go there again.
Fab!!
Heaven is by far the best bar on a weekend full of friendly people and no d1ck heads allowed
