After closing down for a short period, new owners relaunched The Arts Club in September of 2023 and will continue the success of this legendary live music institute for hopefully, many more years to come in Liverpool.

Arts Club Liverpool (formerly the Masque and Barfly), and without a doubt, one of the best live music venues and dance clubs in Liverpool. Forget about smart dress and VIP service, it’s all about the music in Arts Club. Lots of signed and unsigned artists gig here every week, along with some of the best electronic and tec-house club nights in Liverpool

Located on the thriving clubbing hotspot Seel Street, right next door to the popular Heebie Jeebies and LA'GO across the road (old favourite of mine in my student years). And check their website for the latest gigs and messy club nights.

Bouncers have double digit braincells and are by far the worst in Liverpool, venue isn't that great, staff are rude and customer service don't really care, they just ignore you. Could be a great place with a change of certain staff. Me and friends are never going again.

Arts club gives you everything you want from a live venue; the floor to shake, an amazing sound system and a well stocked bar! It doesn’t need to be swanky and pretty it’s ALL about the tunes in here. The drinks are a bit expensive if you’re on student wages and once again, the old plastic cups come out, but it’s definitely worth a visit, because once the bands are big you’re bound to be among thousands and it’s just not the same!!

This has to be one of the best places for gigs. I went to see Kate Nash here and it was amazing, an intimate little venue up close and personal with some of the best names in the industry starting out here. A must visit night spot for live music in Liverpool.
