Mathew Street is one of the best and most attended nightlife areas in Liverpool. A vibrant mix of partygoers of all ages makes Mathew Street a popular area for a night out in Liverpool, and a very popular area for mature drinkers and lovers of a good pint.

There’s something for everyone on Mathew Street: karaoke bars, lots of live music, nearby strip clubs, and the Liverpool Gay Quarter is just 2 minutes away. Many late-night dance clubs are also close by if you like staying out late, such as Heaven till 7am and Gbar till 8am.

We won’t yap on about the Cavern Club in Liverpool, but Mathew Street is famous mainly due to the Cavern and the Beatles; we’ll leave it at that. Though, if you're a Beatles maniac and lover of live music, you’ll be in for a treat when visiting Mathew Street.

You’ll find many great bars and pubs on Mathew Street with a big variety of venues, and it’s very likely you’ll find somewhere you enjoy. And if you’re a student or in the 18–25 age bracket, you might want to check out Concert Square first, as Mathew Street is more suited for the 21+ and older crowds.
