A visit to the Albert Dock offers great river views if you fancy a bit of sightseeing on your first visit to Liverpool. Classed as Liverpool’s trendy and upmarket nightlife area, loads of glamour, young professionals, and mature crowds, so it’s very common to see all ages wandering around here. And dress to impress is a must if you don’t want to look out of place, especially over the weekend nights in places like Panam, Gusto and Revolution.

Albert Dock isn’t the place for a mad night out, so don’t expect drinking and dancing until 6am. Think more sophistication with a relaxed drink, a classy dinner and cocktails, ideal for a calmer night out, and perfect for a date night if you want to impress.

Overall, it’s a great pre-clubbing location with some good bars and restaurants if you’re out with a group or prefer a quieter nightlife. Otherwise, head over to Concert Square or Mathew Street if you want something a bit harder for your night out. If not, just enjoy the tranquil setting of the Albert Dock with amazing views of Liverpool.
