Concert Square Liverpool
Concert Square Liverpool Nightlife
Concert Square is the centre and heartbeat of the Liverpool nightlife, a perfect area to kick start your night out in Liverpool.
You'll instantly get a feel of what Liverpool is all about when you enter Concert Square about 10:30pm on a Friday or Saturday night, great place for a night out with some of the best Liverpool bars and nightclubs, just nearby. Think of Concert Square as the central nightlife hub where everything connects together, literally wall to wall with streets and places to party.
If it's your first time in Liverpool we strongly recommend you check out Concert Square first, lots of outdoor space and only a small walk from Liverpool Lime Street right in the center of Liverpool. And if you’re a mature drinker, somebody who prefers a pint rather than a shot of sambuca then, you might want to check out Mathew Street first, as Concert Square is more suited for the 18–25. Still, there are many venues around for the 30–40+ crowd, so don't rule it out completely.
Tip: Doormen can be a bit funny if you're on your own, so we advise trying to walk in with a group if you want to increase your chances of gaining entry into the bars and clubs.

"Considering we are a group of 30 years olds, we avoided Concert Square. Don't get me wrong, it was buzzing with people but they were a younger crowd. If you are 18—25, head there, you will not be disappointed." Visitor Review

Is Concert Square better than Mathew Street?
Depends who you ask. We wouldn't say better, just different. If you're younger, mostly around 18–25, then Concert Square is probably better, but if you're 30+ then Mathew Street might suit you more, so it's generally an age thing. There's also more dance music and bigger clubs around Concert Square, with more choice overall.
