Tone MGMT presents:
Mare (Hydra Head Industries)
a self-proclaimed "modern soul music" act, consisting of 2 people with an unwavering artistic vision and aim to inspire you.

Founding members, drummer Caleb Collins, and singer/guitarist Tyler Semrick-Palmateer were profoundly influenced by the bleak landscapes of their respective rural Canadian towns. Mare's attempt to rationalize the overwhelming malaise of suburban life sometimes borders on desperation.

With music as their only outlet, they banded together in early 2003 to explore and refine a dark and highly emotional musical identity. This sound was routed in a variety of musical genres, including metal, jazz, and classical. The band recorded a critically acclaimed self-titled EP released on respected underground label Hydra Head Industries, in 2004. They extensively toured Canada and the U.S. alongside prominent extreme bands such as Converge, Isis, Pelican, Daughters, Cursed, These Arms are Snakes, Old Man Gloom, and Terror, to name a few. Mare quickly developed a loyal following with their intense and moving live show. Often heralded for both an ability to express their art with a rare technical proficiency, and to achieve an uncanny emotional connection with their audience.

Corrupt Moral Altar (Season of Mist)
CORRUPT MORAL ALTAR are an angry band. Mechanical Tides is an angry album full of angry songs. Well, what do you expect, when a band is hailing from Liverpool, a former industrial northern city raped and left to rot by Thatcherism. While the fat cats parade around in their white powder keg Porsches in the City of London, the rest of the country is happily left to queue for a charity bowl of soup.

CORRUPT MORAL ALTAR connected the dots and reviewed the forever undead spirit of all things heavy with their founding on the Merseyside in 2012. Filling in the blanks left by decades of musical evolution, the quartet added sludge, grind and hardcore elements to their sound. This fistful of aggression was slammed straight into the faces of their adversaries, creating shockwaves with the immediate release of their Needle Drugs demo in the year of their founding as well as the 2013 EPs Luciferian Deathcult and Whiskey Sierra, which received a glowing welcome in the UK press. CORRUPT MORAL ALTAR underlined their ambitions with intimidating live shows alongside renowned bands such as BRUTAL TRUTH, VENOMOUS CONCEPT, EXTREME NOISE TERROR, HOUR OF PENANCE, and more.
