Were very happy to announce that legendary dub artist, The Scientist, will be returning to our shores this October + November to perform, in its entirety, his 1981 masterpiece 'Scientist Rids the World of the Evil Curse of the Vampires'.

Regarded by many as the greatest living dub engineer, Scientist will demonstrate his genius as he mixes KIKO BUN & The Upper Cut Band live on stage, whilst they perform classics such as, 'Your Teeth In My Neck', 'The Mummys Shroud', 'The Voodoo Curse' and 'Dance of the Vampires'.

SCIENTIST ///

As a protg of King Tubby, Scientist began his career in the mid 1970s mixing for a host of reggae heavyweights, including Barrington Levy and Roots Radics.

It was in the early 1980s that he really came to prominence with the release of a number of dub masterpieces, including the critically acclaimed, 'Scientist Rids the World of the Evil Curse of the Vampires'.

An outstanding practitioner with a truly unique approach to music, Scientist was pivotal in the development of dub and continues to innovate and inspire today.

THE UPPER CUT BAND ///

Regarded as one of the best live bands in the business, The Upper Cut Band have been delivering their inimitable style of roots reggae since the Summer of 2008.

Although based in the UK, the band regularly perform at gigs and festivals around the world, backing some of reggaes biggest artists, including Big Youth, Dennis Alcapone, Johnny Osbourne, Junior Reid and Derrick Morgan.

KIKO BUN ///

Kiko Bun works in a cross section of reggae, dancehall, soul, vintage R&B and hip-hop, creating an infectious and vibrant sound. Following a handful of independent singles, including 2014's hit 'Where I'm From', the London native netted a deal with Island Records and began issuing a steady stream of new material, beginning with the 2015 EP 'Come Again'. Most recently, he has released tracks with Swindle, as well as Loyle Carner.
