SCIENTIST ///

As a protégé of King Tubby, Scientist began his career in the mid 1970’s mixing for a host of reggae heavyweights, including Barrington Levy and Roots Radics.

It was in the early 1980’s that he really came to prominence with the release of a number of dub masterpieces, including the critically acclaimed, 'Scientist Rids the World of the Evil Curse of the Vampires'.

An outstanding practitioner with a truly unique approach to music, Scientist was pivotal in the development of dub and continues to innovate and inspire today.

Following a handful of independent singles, including 2014's hit 'Where I'm From', the London native netted a deal with Island Records and began issuing a steady stream of new material, beginning with the 2015 EP 'Come Again'.
