We are delighted to welcome Lumberjacks in Hell and Intimate Friends label head, DJ and producer Marcel Vogel. With more than 20 years of experience Marcel excels in playing Chicago, Disco and Soulful House.

Taking a turn to producing, Marcels love for disco is shown through his tasteful edits and productions on his label Intimate Friends. With Lumberjacks in Hell releases like ‘Come On' and ‘I Got Jesus’, Marcel strips down the clutter of disco leaving a soul filled housey finish to disco dance floor fillers.

Marcel’s very own label Lumberjacks in Hell has edited more than 15 albums with stomping releases from the likes of Dan Shake’s ‘To The Love’ , Mr Mendel, Rahaan, Al kent, Giovanni Damico, Philou Louzolo, Rayko, Cervo and music from many many more. Lumberjacks in Hell encompasses a style of music that is undeniably soulful packing a particularly special punch, and selections from the boss himself will be sure to get you grooving!

Co-founder of the Banana Hill night originating in Sheffield and now spread to Manchester, and since starting their own record label, Cervo perfectly ties together an eclectic mix of disco, house, afro beat and techno. With early productions being recognised by Seven Davis jr and 2017 already being treated with the debut release of his EP ‘The Antlers of God’, and a recent pumping edit of ‘Love, music and Dance’, Cervo is destined for success. Also part of the Lumberjacks in Hell family, Cervo and Marcel are bound to put on a fantastic show!!
