Trendy Seel Street bar with 4 levels
Liverpool's trendy Empire bar and nightclub with a unique design, club layout, 3 floors and choice of 4 individual themed rooms (States, DOJO, TZAR and Salam courtyard for the smokers) and now a 4th level 'Grande' as of Decemeber 2015 playing a mixture of genres from disco, funk, hip hop, RnB, deep house and club classics mixed by some of the best local and international DJs.
Empire opened its doors early December 2013 taking residents onto Liverpool prime nightlife hotspot Seel Street, which, as you'll know if you're from Liverpool is becoming one of the best places to be seen at the moment in Liverpool, along with the nearby trendy St Peter's Square drinking quarter which is just short walk away.
Though still a fairly new addition to Liverpool's club land, Empire does attract the celebrities with well-known faces always wondering in here for a few drinks. Very busy mainly Thursday to Sunday with Sunday night gaining more and more momentum as the weeks go by. There's no doubt, Club Empire has been a success since opening in Liverpool firmly cemented itself onto Liverpool's clubbing circuit while becoming the cocktail bar of choice for many Liverpudlians.
If your face doesn't fit the bouncers don't let you in. I was NOT allowed in. Got me thinking... maybe I should get some work done?
Went to Empire last week for a friends birthday party. We are from Nottingham and we heard Empire was a great place to go. Arrived at 10.30 as asked for our booking and the venue was buzzing, staff was really friendly and im not going to lie ... i cant remember much of the night ... however thats usually the sign of a good night.
Overall Great night and we are now looking to go down on a Sunday as we have been told they are booming. :-)
I'm a big fan of Empire.
Good music downstairs with a nice drink selection and great staff behind the bar who are really easy going, though just don't turn up in trainers and a polo shirt with jeans. I advise you put some effort in when dressing for Empire.
Only downside is that the main bar is a little cramped and short for seating at times so get there early to start off your night.
Always go to Empire... But was pretty shocked when they wouldn't let me and my lad mate in on Sunday as they said there were too many lads in the bar and not enough girls. However in front of us let other lads in, I approached the doorman and asked why are they letting every other lad in. My friend has image issues and I felt the doormen were a little picky which I think is disgraceful... It's a shame cause it's a nice bar that as said me and all my friends attend regularly and book tables.
Seen Rory Mcilroy last night as we left the club. Photographers taking pictures of him and his girlfriend, always nice seeing big names visiting Liverpool enjoying our great nightlife and culture. Empire was busy great music as always. Love it in here!
Empire is good if your a drug dealer or of that kind as its very selective who goes into the basement!!!!
Head to the basement if you enjoy your house music.
We attended the launch of club empire which was amazing had a ball the atmosphere was brilliant nice crowds of people and lots of cocktails really enjoyed it. Looking forward to our next visit this weekend highly recommended.
