Bassport.FM is pleased to announce our FREE showcase as a part of the Electronic Sound Summit 2020. Featuring Bassport residents from both around the UK & locally, and the very best in Drum & Bass, Dub, Jungle & Glitch-Hop. Under new management for 2020, Bassport FM has previously been associated with the Bristol bass music scene, but now calls Liverpool - the city of music - its home. Join us in celebration of the kinda high fidelity juiciness you can find on the station 24/7 through AE Audios custom built heavyweight sound system.

Altitude [FreeWave Radio]

Altitude started behind the turntables several years ago, his performances have become very accomplished with a lot more to come. Starting with his with his regular slot on the online radio broadcast station DanceRadioUK that caught the ears of promoters in Liverpool, he gained gigs at 100th Monkey, Different Levels and Hush & Bass supporting Micky Finn, Kjah, Erbman and Jynx In Dub.
In 2018 he gained a residency at Bassface Ibiza, smashing out the DnB on the worlds most famous party island, supporting the likes of DJ Phantasy, Mark XTC, Logan D and many more in iconic venues such as Benimusa Park. He has also played at festivals such as Beatherder Festival sharing the same stage as S.P.Y and Benny L.

Andee J [FreeWave Radio]

Promoter of Liverpools renowned 100th Monkey Drum & Bass night, Andee J was first behind the turntables back in 1993 playing Drum and Bass's older brother Jungle Techno. He went on to step up behind the mic and hosted his first radio broadcast in 2001 on Liverpool pirate radio station Bubble FM. He has also performed as a scratch DJ in bands 'Kush' and 'Shiver'. He has supported most of the big names in the Drum and Bass scene from Fabio, Mampi Swift, Micky Finn and Randall to Utah Jazz, Klute, BTK and Total Science.

LUCI4 [FreeWave Radio]

LUCI4 fell in love with dance music around 2004 and draws on many influences, from early punk, soul, ragtime jazz to science fiction films. He says that some of the darkest points in his life where turned around by getting lost on a murky dancefloor. He categorises his style as eclectic, struggling to settle on just one style, rather attempting to weave multiple styles inorder to add drama and cinematics to his mixes.

Senci [FreeWave Radio]

Hailing from Liverpool this Mcee has been around the DnB jungle block in the past 7 years! Put it this way, it would be quicker to list the DJ's he hasn't hosted over the past 6 years, than to name the ones he has. But if you've ever seen one of his sets on mic duties, you will know how it goes down. His gig, festival and music background is extensive to say the least MCing for the likes of Serial Killaz, Remark, DJ Hype, Kenny Ken, Doc Scott, Enei, Klute and Cern, to name a few from performing on soundsystems across the country. This Jungle MC know how to get the night hyped.


Duburban [Duburban Poison]

Music is his mission. Sound system culture his inspiration. Co-founder of Junglism in Huddersfield. Part of the West Yorkshire Jungle Collective in Leeds. Part of the Sub:Cult sound system and holds a weekly residency on Bassport FM radio, this guys a busy man.

Pi [The Platform Podcast]

DJ Pi established The Platform Project on Bassport FM over 5 years ago and has been mixing for over 20 years. Based in the North of England, the Platform Project is now a regular club night in his home town of Kendal. Two-time Finalist in the Movement / Vestax DJ competition, the diversity of Pi's style has even attracted recognition in DJ Magazine. DJ Pi supported many of the big names in DnB (Fabio, Randall, Doc Scott, Commix, Hype, Marcus Intalex to name but a few).
