KÖLE Presents : Monika Kruse : Hangar34 : 14/09/19
Born and raised in Bebington, Merseyside U.K, Köle, AKA Lewis Tyler-Holland, started his musical journey when he was 14. discovering a dance record collection belonging to an old resident DJ at the family ran bar. It was at this moment that Lewis discovered his love for the 4 to the floor beats of electronic dance music.
He first became interested in the electronic music scene in 2005. Supported mainly by his Mum who bought him his first set of turntables. He began by spinning trance records and was influenced by André Tanneberger, better known by his stage name ATB, Armin Van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold and Tiesto throughout his teen year By 21, Lewis was already being scouted as Liverpool's rising star. He did various warm up sets in clubs hosting major names such as Deborah De Luca, UMEK, Jay Lumen, Steffano Nofferini, Ramiro Lopez, Detlef, Josh Bulter and many more!
In 2017 Lewis brought to life his latest concept KÖLE, a branded Techno event which has stormed his home city and neighboring towns, which Köle has described as some of the greatest night of his life. It was after this point when he started getting bookings for the bigger brands in Liverpool and Europe and where he spent some time studying and hosting events, Amsterdam.
After receiving several offers, Köle joined Unity Records with his first release, 'Breathe' in 2018. Since signing to Unity Records, Köle developed a massive back catalog and more forthcoming releases on various labels and since 2017 has been locked in the studio perfecting his craft.
Suffice to say, the world-wide Techno scene should be expecting big things from Köle.
By the end of 2018, Köle had developed his production career, obtained a Bachelor of Honors Degree in Audio Production and amidst completion of his studies KÖLEIDOSCOPE RECORDS was born. Köle’s own imprint which Köle himself has scouted and hand picked from the local Liverpool network of talented Techno producers. Köles hands-on-approach to artist development has opened many new doors for the young producers rising in the Liverpool Techno scene. Having wild studio sessions and parties in the Köleidoscope HQ to fine tune the demos ready to release via the label. This has created the Köleidoscope famila. With over 10 artists and 13 tracks by May 2019. These fellas mean business! The ones to watch in liverpool are defintely putting bangers out on Köleidoscope Records!
