We kick off 2017 in Liverpools newest Music, Arts & Well-being space - Meraki.
Exploiting the vibes of a intimate warehouse space tucked away in the North side of Liverpools docks, this place is sure to become an absolute favourite of ours...
ASUSU (LIVITY SOUND)
Asusu is best known as one third of Livity Sound, where he contributes the subtler side to a chiseled, percussion-led style. Although the steady rise of the Bristol-born production collective and label has made him a household name among fans of rough hewn UK club sounds, it’s only more recently, as the pace of their collaborative live sets has slowed, that Asusu has really grown into his own.
This year he launched his label Impasse as a platform for exploration. Inaugurating it with the Serra EP, the Bristol-based producer highlighted his versatility while propelling his sound even further into the dark corners of electronic music with crystalline ambient excursions and hypnotic shattered grooves.
