This year GBar celebrates two decades of being Liverpool's notorious after-hours hang out for the eccentric community of Liverpool.

We will be marking the milestone with a weekend of hedonism celebrating the past, the present & the future of the venue.

Part 1 will take place on Friday September 30th with the 'GBar Re-Union'

When we went about planning this event we started throwing about what names we wanted to invite to return. One name just kept coming up. This man held probably the most infamous residency not just in GBar history but in Liverpool clubbing over a decade with us. The union of this DJ married to GBar propelled both him & the venue to cult status in the city.

I'm sure by now you have figured out this DJ's name of which we speak is
JOHN COTTON.

After ourselves and JC parted company he went on to close out his career with some high profile independent sell out events in venues with far greater capacity than our intimate setting. It has however always felt like unfinished business that he didn't have that one landmark last night in GBar.

So we aimed high and shot for our number one priority to headline this special occasion and after some major coaxing and negotiation we are over the moon to announce that we have made this dream Re-Union a reality.

JC will step out of retirement to mark Gbar turning 20 in a strictly ticket only event. His previous events have sold three times over the allocation of tickets we will be releasing for this exclusive Re-Union so please heed our warning and act swiftly if you want to be a part of history.
